#4003 Misdirected Comment

I submitted a response to a particular Slashdot comment, and it appeared as a response to the parent comment. I would normally put this down to a simple mistake on my part, but I paid special attention (given the nature of the remark) to ensure that it was going to the right place. In addition, I thought this happened once before, but was unsure because the response made sense even if it was in the wrong place.

Here's my browser information:

My screen resolution is 1024 x 768 pixels. My default font is Times New Roman 16.

I hope this submission helps you improve the product (which is pretty good already). I'm very new to the process, so please bear with me if I've screwed up the procedure.
