#3975 Sounds in Flash adverts

Often when I visit Slashdot I get animated flash adverts on the page. The adverts don't bother me at all - I'd rather them not be there but they don't bother me. I don't even mind when they are animated, although that is quite annoying...

Some of them have recently started to include sounds, in particular the Intel "Click here to play" adverts. This behaviour is very irritating and is forcing me to use a flash disabling extension in Firefox. Unfortunately the extension also stops me from getting Flash objects I actually do want.

Could we be relieved of the sounds in the Flash adverts?
