For instance, if one is browsing Slashdot in SSL, the
Newsforge sidebox links use the rss.slashdot.org
redirects (e.g
<https://rss.slashdot.org/Newsforge/newsforgeNewsforge?m=593>),
but since all links tend to use the "don't include
protocol in URI" schema, SSL users get incorrect
links. Either rss.slashdot.org needs to be set up
correctly to handle SSL, or any links to
rss.slashdot.org need to specify the non-SSL URI.

    I don't know what is happening, but pater should figure that
    out. Maybe the newsforge feed is wonky?
