#3600 Occasional "Index" stories are collapsed

I have all sections set to be fully expanded on the
homepage, however occasionally I see a story from
section "Index" collapsed. The most recent one was

Must be related to making "News" and "Technology" nexuses... not sure what
causes this though. Need to investigate.
