#3522 lost user preferencies link

[Ibn al-Hazardous]

When I check "low bandwidth" under preferencies on
Slashdot.org - the link to preferencies is completely
gone from slashdot home. Since I couldn't find a link
to preferencies from any of the secondary pages, that
actually were linked from the slashdot page - it became
a bit hard to undo the damage...
