ethereal package have a litle mistake ( please confirm this)
For correct them you have to change the line:
VERSION="0.9.5"
for this one
VERSION="0.9.6"

yes it's possible but I've not manage to update the ports yet.
for the moment I'm working exclusively on the script, and when all will be really usable(see the roadmap), I'll need to create a ports core team.

Indeed. I've been using slackware for some years now. I first abandoned redhat becouse I didn't like RPM at the time. I found slackware, and loved the lack of annoying package-management. But as the hardware got older, compiling all software myself was taking a lot of time. Now I got a new (fast) computer, but I would still like something like apt for slackware. I decided to check out gentoo, but put it on hold now, becouse of this project. Keep up the great work! I'm a pretty experienced web developer/designer, and if you need help on developing the project-page, I would be glad to help :)
