I am developing an Audio Server that encapsulates Slab3d in a managed C# environment to render and manage sound scenes. The server supports configuration file (static) and commanding over IP (dynamic), or a combination of both. The problem I am having is that, when using an Asio device for output, the commanding mode gives the above error returned from the OutASIO function call, whereas the config file mode works fine. I have stepped thru both modes and both pass the same parameters to OutASIO. Both modes use the same Slab root directory and same Slab configuration. My ASIO device is an RME FireFace UCX. I am running Win 7 64 bit SP 1. If you can give some causes for the referenced error, perhaps that will give some clue as to why it works one way and not the other. BTW, Direct Sound works both ways.
