WXtoIMG can't click on radio buttons or check boxes in configuration menu

Howdy,
I'm running Skywave 3.0.2 on a Lenovo X220 laptop. When configuring WXtoIMG, it is impossible to click on the radio buttons or check boxes in any of the configuration menus. I've tried WXtoIMG version 2.10.11 and 2.11.2 Beta.
This was not an issue on Linux Mint 18.2. Do you have any ideas about what the problem may be?

Update: it is indeed possible to tick radio buttons and check check boxes. The symbology for it is extremely faint and I have to tilt my laptop's screen to see the changes.
Your observation is noted. I'm looking into issues related to the system color theme.
