Uninstalling Dump1090 Skywave 3.1.1

How do I uninstall Dump1090 on skywave linux 3.1.1?
I want to install a newer version because the map in the browser is just white.
I also tried updating dup1090 through the sdr-updater app

You would need to replace the binary with a newer one, or clone and build something like dump1090-fa from git. The map resides in its own folder, and can be replaced with one of the newer maps.

It has been a long time since I've looked into the directory structure for the version 3 isos, but believe the map directory was in /usr/local/share. The wrapper which starts dump1090 and the map is with the scripts in /usr/local/sbin.
