Skywave Linux v1.0 Uploading

It's a very slow process to upload from my location, but it is happening! Hopefully Skywave Linux v1.0 will be downloadable from SourceForge by 0600 or 0700 UTC, August 2nd. Torrents are uploading as well, and the group of trackers is linked on our page at Skywave Linux.

This project is exciting; it is expected to bring shortwave listening to a vast number of people in a way that frees them from the need to have local hardware, big antennas, and so forth. Until this moment, just a few experts have been running high performance software defined radio servers and being accessed by the other experts. I built a Linux system similar to Skywave Linux, and realized that there certainly are others like me - who are interested in radio, seeking access to the airwaves from other places, and frustrated with the difficulty of installing the software.

Skywave Linux v1.0 eliminates the hassle of building it yourself. It "just works" the way it should.
