Prealpha A2 Delayed until Fall/Winter 2014

During the spring and summer of 2014, there was a lapse of development on this project. We have now again turned our focus on Skylight OS, and are hoping to release Prealpha A2 or perhaps even Alpha 1. Thank you for your patience and commitment to our product.

Personal Assistant to be Added in a Future Release

With the release of Cortana, Microsoft's new personal assistant, we feel as though it would be a great step forward if we integrated our own assistant into Skylight OS. Therefore, we are announcing that we are beginning development on our own personal assistant! We believe that it will take quite a long time to develop, so we are not promising that it will be integrated with v1.0 of Skylight OS. We will publish more information later.

Text-to-Speach in Prealpha A2!

In Prealpha A2, which has not yet been released quite yet, we added the function App.speak. This function allows us to borrow Google's Text-to-Speech engine that they use in Google Translate. We are really excited about this function. We hope to get Prealpha A2 to you as soon as possible.
