If the expiring time of the cookie for the usertracking
module is set to something short (e.g. 2 hours), and
the lifetime of your browser session extends the
lifetime of the cookie, a new cookie is not given out,
but an error occurs instead.

Granted, short-living tracking cookies are not very
usefull outside a development environment, but a la ...
