Inputscale factor

fkmk

Two commands are available to define the scaleing behaviour of SketchTrack. These allow fast conversion to different drawing sizes. SketchTrack has to scale two different types of measures: parameters given in the .trk file such as the length of a straight section and internal constants such as the size of a sleeper or the gauge. All internal constants are given in 1:1 measures. All file parameters however are given in a model scale in order to enable simple planning with real measures.
Therefore, SkecthTrack uses two scaling factors. The first, “Inputscale”, is used to scale file parameters to 1:1. If you plan a 10cm straight in a 1:160 plan, ist makes 1600cm out of this. The second, “Outputscale”, is used to scale all 1:1 measures to the output size. If you want to draw your 1:160 plan in 1:160 as planned, Outputscale downscales the 1600cm back to 10cm again.
So, with Inputscale you define the scale in which your .trk file is written. With Outputscale you can independently define in which scale the plan is drawn in SketchUp.

Inputscale factor

Defines the unit in which parameters are given in the SketchTrack file. factor is the value to multiply input data to obtain centimeters in 1:1
