wow, what an impressive document.
I could not read all the over 60 pages, but browsed some of them.

Note: If you have problems with webspace, we could put this
instructions up on skencil.wald.intevation.org.
If you like we could even think about adding your instructions
in the SVN running there, that would enable more people helping.

Did you consider using the GNU FDL for this manual?
An alternative could by the BY cc license.

I have found that my tool:

is quite handy to check if the font installation now is okay!
Did you consider mentioning it?
