I should apologize. I know it's been almost 8 months (yikes!) since I've sent mail or worked on sked, but I got busy with my job, Real Life, etc. You know how it is. :-/ On Thu, Apr 26, 2001 at 12:54:24PM -0400, Chouser wrote: > That sounds like a good way to go about it. I've been reading the libical list for a little while now and there hasn't been much activity of any kind for some time. This is okay, because the C implementation is complete AFAICT. However, the Python bindings are also at a standstill. The good news is that creating a decent initial set of bindings should be pretty easy using SWIG -- on the order of 10 hours or so. I will tackle this in the next month. If anybody has experience with SWIG or writing Python C extensions, I'm all ears. > Okay. Most likely it'll be the first alternative I mentioned: rename the sked "binary" and create a sked subdir. > One problem is caused by the fact that I'm running on Compaq Tru64 > (formerly known as Digital Unix or OSF-1), and the strftime function > doesn't have a '%l'. I'm still not entirely familiar with iCalendar, but I think sked will wind up having to do its own date <-> string conversions. I'll commit this. > The intruiging bug is that the minical panel in the upper-right corner > doesn't work in April, except when the selected day is the first. All > other months work fine. I'm looking forward to working on sked again and I hope you'll be able to help, too. -Keith -- I believe that X is ten. I'm an existentialist. |
