The same keytool command would work for a der file. The example uses .crt as one of the formats you can use.
Hi 1) The SKCE certificate seems fine in my case , it shows the name of the host "issued to Fidoengine1.credots.net issuedby Fidoengine1.credots.net" 2) The certificate of fidoapp seems to have problem (it shows issued to local host by local host). as you instructed I created a new cert using keytool on the fidoapp server(prefido2.credots.net) using the keytool genkey command , restarted glassfish. changed alias to s1as then used keytool exportcert and got the certificate in .der format but how and...

Lets tackle this one machine at a time. 1) SKCE machine: On this machine make sure that the SSL certificate is issued with the right name (which would be the hostname of the machine ex: skce01.strongauth.com, and NOT localhost). If the certificate has localhost in it, please recreate the certificate with the right FQDN in there. Once you have the new certificate, restart glassfish to make the new certificate active. To create a new certificate follow the same URL as i mentioned before. Once glassfish...
hi do you want me to create certificate for skce machine and import into the trust store of its glassfish or u want me to create certificate with keytool for appserver (fidoweb app) and import it into its own trust store? as iam running fidoapp and skce in different glassfish server in different machines. prefido2.credots.net is the appserver here .

If the certificate still says localhost, the URL with prefido2.credots.net will not work. You will have to recreate the glassfish certificate to have the correct fqdn in it. On the SKCE machine follow the steps to create a new SSL certificate (Section 6.9) https://sourceforge.net/p/skce/wiki/Install%20StrongKey%20CryptoEngine%202.0%20%28Build%20163%29/#69generate-a-new-tls-certificate-for-skce MAke sure restart glassfish after the new certificate has been created and then reimport the new generated...
