Hi,
first of all, thanks to all the developers who have
created such a great reference managing tool as
sixpack. I have been using sixpack (0.99, I think) for
over two years now and I have been very happy with it.
I have now installed a newer version (2.0-5, the noarch
rpms) and the the perl-bp library (0.6) on my SuSE 9.0
system. files from the latter package installed under
/usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.0/i386-linux-thread-multi/,
but the SuSE Perl installation expected the libs under
/usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.1/i586-linux-thread-multi/.
I copied the files to the latter directory which
allowed me to start sixpack.
However, now I have trouble with PubMED queries. I
activated the "Web query on PubMED" toggle as I was
used to do, but whatever I enter as a search term (e.g.
"adophs r AND damasio ar") I only get two references
from authors that I didn't enter in the search term.
Also, the two references show up on every query,
regardless of the search term.
Can anyone help me out on this issue? Am I missing
some important configuration feature?
Thanks,
Jan
