#15 Feature Req: Eliminate doubles on import

I regularly do searches on Medline, and quite often get
hits that are already in my database. The "Mark Double
CITEIDs"-button is a very helpful feature in this case,
but it would be even nicer to have a toggle button to
enable an automatic search (and elimination) for
doubles after a Medline search (or any import for that
matter). Of course, this would require that CITEIDs
were generated automatically after import, too (which
would be another nice feature to have BTW). And the
user would need to choose CITEIDs that they are
sufficiently specific to avoid tossing out wrong
doubles by accident.

Yes, I think that makeing CITEIDs after import should be added.
I'll do it.
But I don't know what to do about the double entries/double
CITEIDs.
I would like a general feature to eliminate double entries (good
also for database merging) but what about typos/different
spellings, etc?
One feature that is easy to add is 'mark 2nds on double citeid'.
This would select only the 2nd/3rd etc. occurence of double
citeids. Which can then easily be deleted....
