Hi
Is there anyway, i can load one (1D) spectroscopic 13C DNP data to determine kinetics for pyruvate to lactate conversion using SIVIC? Please let me know your suggestions,
Thanks

Hi,
Yes, depending on the input format. If you have images representing the metabolite quantities in DICOM format for both metabolites at all times, then you can use the command line tool svk_met_kinetics. Does that work for you? What format is your data in? If you are starting with dynamic spectra there are tools for creating the time series of metabolite maps for this.
thanks,
-Jason

Hi Jason
Thank you for your reply. My dynamic data is in fid format ( agilent or varian format). I just want to do simple kinetics (2 compartment) based on 1D data.
Thanks
Ned
Hi Ned,
We do support fid and procpar files for some sequences from Varian/Agilent imaging scanners. However if your data isn't imaging data, i.e. no spatial localization parameters, then it might require a little kludging for example to represent it as a single voxel data set in order to use the tools. Have you tried loading your fid file in the sivic GUI?
thanks,
-Jason
Hi Jason
I tried loading the fid (1D NMR, spectroscopic data, not a imaging data) files in SIVIC, unfortunates it does not work and it crashes. It does not recongnize the file format.
Thanks
Ned
Hi Ned,
What is the data format? Which vendor? We only support imaging formats, though single voxel will work if it's in an imaging context. There may be simple workarounds, but we'd need to see your data to recommend something. If you want to e-mail a deidentified example to me directly we can have a look.
Thanks,
-Jason
