SIVIC not opening on MacOS Monterey / Horos v3.3.2
I am having similar problems to install Sivic. I am using MacOS Monterey v 12.7.4, M1 pro. My Horos is v3.3.6. I can see the Sivic's plugin, however and I click to open it nothing happens. Many thanks!

Hello, we are looking into this. Do you know if you are using a M1 series model Mac?
Try o using this command line in Terminal: "/Applications/SIVIC.app/Contents/Resources/sivic.sh"
I would suggest double-checking that you are running the .bat and not the .exe file. If you run the .bat through a powershell you should get some more helpful error messages. --Beck
Hi all, has there been any news on this case? I have the same problem with Windows 10 and would be thankful for any advice! :-) Greetings from Göttingen, Germany (MPI for Multidiciplinary Sciences) Sonja
Yes/no! It supports CSI and someone at the UCSF HMTRC is in the process of implementing EPSI support. However, this is all somewhat sequence dependent. The SIVIC data readers (both command line and built into the GUI) try to recognize the sequence, e.g. by PSD name and then map the Bruker input data to a standard MRS data structure for visualization/analysis. If the sequence isn't recognized, or it was developed in house there can be complications. Of course it's all open-source and can be extended/tweaked...
Can Bruker raw data be read directly by SIVIC?

Hi-- This error message comes up when trying to load overlays, not spectra. Make sure you click the folder icon to the left of the "spectra" text in the GUI. --Beck
Hi when attempting to load a GE P file through the spectra select menu I get this error: ERROR: Currently loading of overlays before image OR spectra is not supported Any ideas?

Hi Ned, What is the data format? Which vendor? We only support imaging formats, though single voxel will work if it's in an imaging context. There may be simple workarounds, but we'd need to see your data to recommend something. If you want to e-mail a deidentified example to me directly we can have a look. Hi Jason I tried loading the fid (1D NMR, spectroscopic data, not a imaging data) files in SIVIC, unfortunates it does not work and it crashes. It does not recongnize the file format. Thanks Ned
