[SIP-devel] libcybervis.so problem

Hi,

First of all : nice to meet you Vasileios.

I'm in trouble.
I'm trying to get sip-dev running, but the building process on my 
machine doesn't generates the libsybervis.so. So I can't run loader.sce.

Look at loader.sce output :

-->mode(-1);
SIP - Scilab Image Processing Toolbox loaded
Enter "sipdemo()" for a demonstration

Loading shared executable ./cybervis/libcybervis.so
./cybervis/libcybervis.so: cannot open shared object file: No such fi
le or directory
link(libsip_path+'/cybervis/libcybervis.so');
                                              !--error   236

I've tried your suggestion but it didn't 'fumegate'. :-)

Look at this :

#locate libcybervis
/usr/local/src/sip-dev/src/cybervis/.libs/libcybervis.a
/usr/local/src/sip-dev/src/cybervis/.libs/libcybervis.lai
/usr/local/src/sip-dev/src/cybervis/.libs/libcybervis.la
/usr/local/src/sip-dev/src/cybervis/libcybervis.la
/usr/local/src/sip-dev/src/cybervis/libcybervis.a

Someone can help me ?

please follow these steps so we discover what's wrong:


1) Did you fix the LDFLAGS=$(EXTRA_LDFLAGS) bug? (I assume you did)
2) type :
	ldconfig -p | grep -i magick

Are the ImageMagick libs listed in the output above??

3) Before running builder.sce again, type the following insinde the sip-dev directory:
	make distclean

Did it 'funfate' now?

If not, please give more details on what you did, the version of ImageMagick, etc.

Yes.

No.

Certainly I've done some wrong things when I uninstalled the old 
ImageMagick and built a new ImageMagick from source.

I've redone all the ImageMagick building process and it's all ok now.
