Hi, I am repassing what our Google Summer of Code student, Pallan, has been doing. http://wiki.scilab.org/Contributor-Pallan-Madhavan-GSOC2012 For the next steps I plan to integrate his work and begin the heavier parts of his project, namely bringing key Leptonica functionality to Scilab, and also VXL.
