Hi all, I was testing the watershed function and I faced some strange output. I was wondering if this behavior is expected and the output is correct! Would someone please explain to me why is this happened? I've attached two images (in digits), one named "input" containing five minima pixels (shown with 0s) surrounded by foreground (with 1s) and the watershed output as "output". In output, pixels are labeled. So the digits show the region that pixels belong to. The problem is the three pixels of region 2. The ones that connect the center region to the corner of image. In my point of view they should belong to region 3! But since I'm new to this algorithm, I'm not sure if this is the way it should be or not. Would someone please tell me, if this is a problem, how can I overcome it?
