Hi Zhang, I tested the installer on a Windows XP machine, and I have to say, it is really impressive!! Congratulations! It detected my scilab and imagemagick versions properly, and the "Toolboxes" menu appeared; and the toolbox loaded. Now here's my first bug report: when running the TransMogrify demo, Scilab simply crashes. The help pages seem to be working fine. The only issue is with the links: "help fftderiv", for example. Try clicking on the "curvature" link, and you'll see a "sip_hacking" in the address. Maybe you forgot to remove that address?? But the rest is pretty amazing! Thank you _so_ much... just to elevate your morale: I was offered a job in Europe once because of my activities with SIP! Here are some minor remarks/ideas for us to discuss: - Should we ship ImageMagick in the binary version of SIP? This is because, in general, binaries require a very specific verison of DLLs. If the user tries to use another version of Imagemagick, our SIP binary might not work properly. - Also, send us some notes / general guidelines on how to reproduce what you did. - After we release a stable windows binary, you can put your name in the copyright notices, and I'll list it in the SIP website if you want. Thank you so much, keep it up! |
