Hey, Zhang,
thank you!!! I'll be installing in some windows machine in a few hours
and give you feedback.
Everybody can download the alpha version at:
http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=3D68055&package_id=3D=
67061
Meanwhile, some administrivia: whenever I'm too busy or not around,
you should release SIP for windows yourself using Sourceforge's file
release system. I'm doing this one for now, but in the future you can
do it.
These are the steps to make a release:
Source forge page -> Log in -> SIP sourceforge record -> Admin ->
File Releases=20
Down at the file releases page, click "add release" or "edit release"
to the SIP (beta or stable) or SIP-dev (alpha releases).
For the windows version, I usually select "edit release", then choose
the source release
version corresponding to your windows SIP source version (last version
on Sourceforge).
Upload your file to upload.sf.net using regular ftp. Follow the steps
in the release page.
Read sourceforge documentation on the file release system; pay
attention to the way Packages are organized and the files within them.
I removed the binary versions from CVS.
That's it! Now let me go test that windows version on my machine!
Thanks again Zhang!!
