Hi,all I just uploaded a Zip file of Windows port SIP to our CVS server, because I don't know where I should upload it. This is a zip file not a binary installer, so you have to install it manually. But the process is very simple: just extract the zip file and copy the siptoolbox folder under the directory of Scilab_installation_path/contrib. Then run scilab, a menu named *toolboxed* on the menu bar should appear, click siptoolbox and test it please. Since the learning curve of NSIS and InnoSetup is steep, especially I want the installer can detect the existence of Scilab and ImageMagick automatically, I have to write my own functions to do the job. So this will take me some extra days to learn NSIS or InnoSetup. After a short consideration, I think zip file may be a good choice for the purpose to test SIP within Our team, because it's very easy for me to make a zip file. I'm eager to hear your comments and suggestions as early as possible. Have fun! Zhang Cheng |
