Hi,
Having a look at the new SIP version (which seems to work very fine), I made 
some improvements on my interferometry_gui demo.
The problem was mainly with imxprofile: it's necessary to switch to scilab 
old_graphic style (set("old_style","on")) to have a normal behaviour.
Now, the demo switches automatically to this mode.

Something else (if someone can test on his hardware to tell if it works):
in the section "Screen" of XF86Config, I added 2 lines:

    Option      "backing_store"
    Option      "save_unders"

(I found this tip on the Scilab web site).
If it works, we should had a remark in the imxprofile help page.

Something else: the original laser1.jpg is awful (too small). Here is a new 
one to use with the laser beam menu.

PS: the anouncement of a window version of SIP is a great news: the number of 
people using SIP will probably greatly grow. Congratulations to Ricardo.
