[SIP-devel] new devel release/ bwlabel

Dear SIP co-developers,

A new significant development version is now released.
The main improvements are:

   + New bwlabel function to label connected components in a binary
   image. It is coded in C for efficiency.

   * Contributions by Jocelyn Druel:
   + New pifilter function that denoises an image without affecting
   abrupt variations.
   + New imroi function to define ROI's (Regions of Interest) using
   the mouse. Until now only rectangular regions are supported.

Unfortunately a development release must be compiled from source,
and this currently works best under Linux. Feel free to ask for help
with compilation.
