Any ideas?
This is happening in new Ubuntu 8.10 and Fedora installs.
I am having this exact same error attempting install in PCLinuxOS 2009, kernel 2.6.26.8. Previous install in PCLinuxOS 2009 TR3 worked, kernel 2.6.26.6
