#78 Support searching for SIP ID

I am not able to search contact with my SID in pidgin-sipe contact search for office communicator protocol. I am able to search contact using email, username, company name etc. but when I search with SID it pops up "no entry found" why is this ? actually each sid is maped to emailID in backend.

SIPE is not responsible for the contents of search query responses.

The field "Contact search... -> Email:" is mapped to mail node in the search query. That is also the same node extracted from the response and presented in the search results window.

This was not a bug report. what I mean to say is that now SIPE is incapable to do contact search using SID . so it should be implemented as a feature. my point is that if there are attributes a, b, c, d, e of a record and if contact search can be done using a,b,c,d and not e .

contact search should be possible using all the attributes of a record.
