On communicator, when a user is idle, moving the mouse over their name displays their idle time. This feature is not available in the plugin.

Agreed, this issue is not properly addressed.

Bit truth to be said, only Communicator 2007 R2 have this feature (AFAI remember).

I'm not sure what server version my company runs, but we're using the 2005 client, so I'm assuming they're using the 2005 server? I'm able to see the idle times on my 2005 client.

It would display "Idle since: <date(if more than one day) > <time>"
