I'm currently translating gnome 2.20 using babel and scim.

first you have to  rename <name>.pot as <name>.po
(po - potable object)
then you can open it using the kbabel

I have decided to try my hands at translation of scim  to Sinhala.
The file opens by default in my computer with kbabel.

Anyone of you who have already translated a <name>.pot file
That would give me an idea of how you all do this and what word are
already in use.

I would much appreciate to a sample file that has already been done.
or a link to a file that I could download.
