at the moment, it seems that you could have a top-level
gallery claim to contain only '1 gallery' within it,
while actually that 1 gallery within it contains an
additional 14 galleries... therefore, that top-level
gallery should show claim to the 14 galleries...
kind of a separate thing, but... it seems that a folder
that contains another folder cannot be considered it's
own galleries and hold its own pictures. that's not a
terrible thing, and can be worked around, but perhaps
some things would be easier if a folder/gallery could
hold both images and more galleries? maybe that would
make things more complicated in terms of the
programming.. i dunno. it's not the biggest deal.
but it would really be nice if the 'main entrance' to
the galleries would tell the complete sum of galleries
within it, rather than only considering those in its
immediate folder.
your consideration on this is much appreciated.
this is a wonderful app and i'm very happy to finally
be using it. thank you! :)

1. this is would make the software much slower especially
for large galleries due to the need to recursively work
through every level of subgalleries counting.
2. this does indeed make the programming more complex and
has been discussed extensively elsewhere on this tracker and
on the mailing list (or possibly the forums, i forget).
3. thanks :)
