New features in the 0.80 release include:

You can now set parameters from <param> tags in an applet, same as those found in the rsshosts.properties file.

The 'Show' column state is now saved in the properties file, and does not revert to 'Recent' anymore.

Fullscreen support was added in 0.75, but on OS X, it is a sorry affair. This is an Apple problem, which is or is not below their radar (they're not saying).

I upgraded the project status to Beta, since I feel good about it. If there were massive bugs, I might reconsider, but it's lookin' happy here.

Multiple bugs were fixed, relating to feed management. For example, the image scroller wouldn't stop when you deleted a feed, then when you added one, it would start another image scroller. This happened when you changed (a combination of delete/add). A few of these tweaks later, we have a new revision!

The project has successfully been added to http://www.jars.com. The information was submitted on June 1, 2004 and was approved on June 7, 2004. I don't know where it is listed, but you can search for "simulacrum", and the project shows up!

Beta testers needed! Officially, this is still an alpha release, but the project needs beta testers!

Welcome all, the project has a new home here on Sourceforge. As there is only one developer, there is a slight learning curve associated with the workings of this site, but documentation is coming, don't you worry!
