I received bug reports that the windows version of simspark installs but 
fails to start with an error messages similar to this:

 > C:\Program Files\simspark\rsgedit.exe
 > This application has failed to start because the application
 > configuration is incorrect. Reinstalling the application may fix the
 > problem.

this is caused by the dependency of simspark to the latest Microsoft 
C-runtime that is not installed by default with a windows installation. 
Please make sure that you install this runtime.
