Recently I have been digging out the implementation details of
SimSpark. And I am always thinking about writing a comprehensive
developer documentation, which covers most of the design and
architecture issues about SimSpark. <br>
Currently there are only api, how-tos and a very concise
developer documentation. So I want to complete this, which I
think will greatly ease the job of development of agents and
maybe the development of SimSpark. :)<br>
So far I am just understand the overall architecture and walk
through Zeitgeist, and I think by writing some documentation
will help me understand some hard issues in it.<br>

No, there is no specific deadline for the documentation and it is
essentially an incremental work. But it is not good that you write
it fully (which could take a long time) and send the result to us.
The most desirable way is to set up and work on the documentation
in a public fashion, so that others can benefit from it even when
it is incomplete and also others will probably contribute to it.
So, the best thing IMHO is to go the same way as the user manual;
either start working on the developer documentation in simspark
wiki (like ) or start working on it in simspark SVN as latex
documentation. <br>
Since working in wiki is apparently easier for everybody, maybe
working on it in wiki is a better option. <br>
BTW, either register in the wiki and initiate the documentation
there, or we will give you SVN commit access and start working on
the documentation there. You may even decide to do both ;)<br>

We've passed RoboCup 2010, and 2011 competitions is in
front of us. So, we should organize our MC to push the
simulator forward in the desired direction. <br>

As the first step, I'd like to call everybody, both
current MC members and all other participants and who are
interested in 3D league to come along and participate in
2011 development work of the simulator. Any contribution,
consisting of code, documentation and artwork is highly
appreciated. The general direction of the development of
the simulator will be (hopefully ;)) decided by Technical
Committee with the help of 3D community; but without the
efforts of MC there will be no progress. <br>

We have priorities for development of the simulator, but
MC members are free to select any of the current tasks
they like, or even they can propose new features and work
on what they prefer (as while as it is not in conflict
with the general direction). <br>

You can find the 2010 plan of MC at [1]. Not all of what
have been happened in 2010 is reflected in the page, but
most of the content is valid. Unfortunately, there are
many tasks in the list which have not been completed in
2010. BTW, we had a good progress in 2010 and we are able
to play 6 vs 6 games even in single threaded mode and
overall 2010 progress was nice. But I hope that we can
make much more progress in 2011. <br>

Please let us know about your interest and your plans for
participating in the simulator development in 2011, so
that we can setup a new wiki page for 2011! Everybody is
invited ;)<br>
