Hello all, While some of you have been enjoying yourselves in Singapore (thanks for posting the log files!), I've been programming my own agent and refining the wiki documentation further. Hopefully I can make it to RoboCup next year. Also, I am trying to find out what sorts of MediaWiki extensions are available to us on the SourceForge Wiki, but I don't think non-admins are able to do that. Is it possible to set me up as an admin for the wiki? Primarily I would like to find a way to embed video (some of the match videos are really fun to see) and make the code sample font a standard size as code looks very small on my computer. I'd also like to try Simon Raffeiner's idea about collating a Wikibook for offline viewing. I apologise to those who receive this twice. I am cross-posting as the documentation applies to both lists. Monitor There's a page for monitors. It now has a list of key commands available for rcssmonitor3d. I recall from the mailing list that there are some new key commands, but I can't find the email. If someone remembers, could they update the page? http://simspark.sourceforge.net/wiki/index.php/Monitor Monitor Protocol A new page containing information about messages sent and received on port 3200. The information came in part from the PDF Joschka sent, and in part from reading the source code. I put this page together while writing my own monitor client for a machine learning exercise, so I know it's at least detailed enough to do that. http://simspark.sourceforge.net/wiki/index.php/Network_Protocol#Server.2FMonitor_Communication There are still a few TODO markers on the page. It would be great if anyone is keen to address some of them. Log Files A new, small, page devoted to recording and playing log files, and links to competition log archives. I've added the URL for 2010, but if other archives exist out there, please update the table: http://simspark.sourceforge.net/wiki/index.php/Log_Files There's quite a lot of new stuff on the wiki now. If you have time, please have a look and send through your feedback or just make changes directly. As the Wikipedia folks say, Be Bold! All the best, Drew. |
