I recently set up MediaWiki on my server. I chose it because it's the engine for wikipedia, so I figure it's been pretty well tested. It was pretty straightforward. If there's a problem at your site, I'd be happy to host it...but you shouldn't have any trouble getting it working. Although thinking about it, it's probably good to have the docs in a local file in the Simplog distribution. In addition to the copy on my server, I'm using Simplog on my laptop as an electronic notebook/ diary...and it's not always connected to the net. Nevertheless, the user/developer community could do the docs online and then I bet we could write a simple script to have the local install download the latest version...perhaps via RSS?
