[Simplog-devel] a start on 1.0

just letting everyone know i had a bit of time over the weekend and put 
some thought to the 1.0 release.  I'm basing my design partly on tcort's 
module design and partly on the module architecture that drupal uses.  
My wife is (probably) going on a trip in a week or so, so i'll have more 
time to wrap up a final 0.9.x release and get an initial design doc for 
1.0 started.

What i'm basically shooting for is to have a fully modular 
architecture.  A set of "core" modules will make up the underlying "blog 
engine".  These core modules will have a "Core API"  that we can build 
other interfaces on top of (Default Web Interface, Email Gateway 
INterface, SOAP Interface, Metaweblog and Blogger API interface, 
etc.....).  I still don't have many details worked out in my head yet, 
but i'm hoping to organize those soon.
