I finally got a few fixes in, nothing major.

Please test as throroughly as you can as I haven't done any real testing 
on it and don't really have time to.

I want to get this out the door so we can start on 1.0.

speaking of 1.0, i've got a templating system working for it that I 
think is going to work very well.  Its a stripped down version of the 
PHPTemplate system that drupal uses.  The engine is much different, but 
the templates are pretty much the same.  More on this later....
