Hi, For anyone interested, 4.0 has been released. There is still some optimizations needed and one or two packages that have yet to be migrated to the new implementation. However, users should notice a considerable performance improvement (core now uses NIO) when it comes to persistent HTTP connections and usage for Web 2.0 applications.
