    Is there a way to specify a hash for a global passphrase? Or do I have to just set all entries to the same passphrase?

    you can enforce the same passphrase for all entries (option $forcesampf='a') or one passphrase for each categroy (option $forcesampf='c'). The options are set in svconfig.php
