Selling Made Simple - Alpha 0.12 Released

A new development version of Selling Made Simple has been packaged and is ready for download.

SMS 0.12 presents new features such as:
-A basic Spanish translation of the core. Visit Account -> My Preferences to change your language.
-Cleaner controllers with dynamic breadcrumbs based on controller/action.
-Installation script tweaks. Still needs work, but gets the job done for now.
-Module API work. Modules can now be versioned and upgraded accordingly.... read more

Selling Made Simple - Alpha 0.9 Released

We are proud to release a new version of Selling Made Simple. Several model associations have been fixed or streamlined resulting in increased performance and fewer queries per page.

Additionally the basics for a new Coupon Module have been added to the app/plugins folder. New tags can be inserted into your template for linking directly to the content edit page.

As always we are looking for testers for suggestions & bug reports.

Selling Made Simple - Alpha 0.8 Released

We have just released Alpha Version 0.8 of the Selling Made Simple shopping cart. Version 0.8 has many new and exciting features, and is just a preview of things to come.

A few of the cooler changes include:
-A new Module Interface
-Front end module hooks
-Event handlers
-Admin area Event & EventHandler viewer

We are always looking for additional people to test and submit their thoughts.

Welcome to Selling Made Simple!

Selling Made Simple is an effort to create the best possible Open Source shopping cart. Everyone from basic users to advanced PHP programmers will easily be able to manage their online store. Dynamic templating of all pages will be handled by the database. Stay tuned for more news. We are planning on releasing our Alpha version by: August 1, 2007.
