When I email using "smtp.gmail.com", it ALWAYS reports a fingerprint mismatch. Telling it to remember the new fingerprint doesn't seem to make any difference (I assume because GMail has multiple SMTP servers, each with a different fingerprint), and attempting to manually remove the fingerprint in Configuration does not work (it reappears straight away).

Further info: If I tell it to "Trust server", then a new fingerprint appears in Configuration. Although it's not very helpful that I have to manually open & then save my Configuration (it really should do this automatically), but that does cause it to preserve the new fingerprint.
I don't know why, but this MAY not be a problem after all. At least, I saved the GMail fingerprint, and several days later it still seems to be working.
However, even if that is the case, I'd still like to see two improvements:
1. When I tell it to "Trust" a particular fingerprint, it should save it withOUT the unintuitive (and seemingly error-prone) step of saving the Configuration.
2. The ability to ignore/disable fingerprints (in case of any future difficulties, whether due to SimpleMail being buggy or outdated, or simply wierd problems with the email supplier).
OK, the problem did resurface (took maybe a week). Seems like GMail changes which server they assign me on a semi-random basis.
I guess if SimpleMail could store MANY signatures (per server), that would be a solution. But it might be simpler to just allow me to tell SimpleMail to not bother Fingerprinting (nor checking) a particular email server.
