When adding a contact that requires authorization, SJ
doesn't tell you that it is requesting authorization and
the contact just disappears (doesn't appear as
online/offline or anything). It'd be nice if they could at
least show up as Offline until auth is received (perhaps
with a special icon to indicate waiting for auth or
something). Since the contact never appeared in my
contact list and SJ didn't tell me it was requesting
authorization, I thought my contact add operation had
just failed (so I tried multiple times - spamming the
contact with auth requests ;)
