Profile activation hang

I'm having a small problem with the program.
When I activate a profile, the status shows "Setting static IP address", and the IP changes. But the status never changes after that, so if I want to change again to another profile, I have to shut down the program and restart...

I'm using version 2.7.

Does this happen every time you activate a profile?
What version of Windows are you using?
In XP, it can occassionally take a while to apply the settings - have you waited a few minutes to see if it eventually completes? I'll also look into what could be happening.

It happens every time. I'm using Win7 x64.
I have waited for half an hour without change of status.

I can reload the adapter info (Ctrl-R) and see the new settings in place, but I still can't apply new settings again without restarting the program.

Hi same probleme here with 2.8 b1 on windows 10 enterprise. After switching the profile i have to restart the simple ip config to proper work.

Could someone on Windows 10 try this?
Open a command prompt, type "pause" (without the quotes), then hit enter.
Post a screenshot or let me know what it says.

It says "Please press a key"...I´ve a German version so this ist just a free translation.

Everyone having this issue: are you using a language other than English?
I suspect the issue is I am looking for a certain phrase to let me know the command is done. I will make changes and post an updated version soon to test it.
