I am saving multiple profiles only to find that randomly the address parameters that I've saved for those profiles get changed later. Some get zeroed out, some are swapped with parameters from other profiles - either way it happens at random and it's making the program unusable. Trying to initially save a profile is also tedious, and I will at times have to attempt two or three times to save a profile to get the program to actually accept it.

Hi, I can setup a profile with an IP-address and it will set my ip. When I have another profile that is empty, it does not go back to DHCP.

I got the same problem, and fix it in Win10 display settings by changing text size to 100% instead of the default 125%.

On one computer at work this program doesnt work. In the menu: Select Adapter , there arent any adapters to choose from. What might be the problem?

I can not Save Profiles. I had an older version of this on my old Laptop and it worked great. I currently have version 2.8.1 on a Win 10 system.

I just downloaded the 2.8 version, but i am not able to put more than 2 digits for the IP address "segment". Like 10.1.100.100 i can only enter as 10.1.10.10, since it just beeps when i try to put the third digit. If i edit the profile.ini, it works and the program shows all the digits of the IP, but i can't change the parts where there's 3 digits. All the IP fields have the same issue. Win 10 (sorry, that's what the new machine came with).

I can confim, V2.8 has this issue V2.7 seems to run fine. Trying to fix the issue i found that it looks releated to the DPI scaling of windows. Turned of scaling en it works fine (V2.8), sadly the properties is de app's compatibility list "Disable display scaling on high DPI settings" didn't seem to work. Happy bug hunting :-)

In the Ver2,8 release none of the address fields seem to support 3 digit numbers. I can enter 2 digit numbers but not 3 digit numbers in the address fields. This anomolay is present in all of the address fields. This behaviour is not present in Ver2.7.

I can't reproduce the problem. Is it possible the file was open in another program when you tried to rename or delete? If you could attach or post the contents of your file here, I can try to see if there is a reason it is having issues.

Hello, When I rename or delete a profile and click "Save" after I restart Simple IP Config I see that the renaming of a prifile and the deletion of a profile is not saved. As a wirkaround I open "profiles.ini" file and perforn renaming/deleting there. My system- WIndows 8 x64. Simple IP Config version- 2.8.

Hi Kurtis, I often need to change the parameters of more than one adapter at a time. So it would be useful to define profiles containing the settings of different adapters, so you can set them all by a single 'Apply'. You should also be able to define the adapter's status: enabled or disabled. In my opinion, you should swap sections 'Select Adapter' and 'Profiles': so the profile would be the root, containing the settings of one or, optionally, more adapters (with a checkbox each). If you could, please try this v2.8b6. I've been away from the program for a while, so I don't know exactly what I fixed, but I can tell I made some adjustments for the IP address input. I think the About popup works properly now as well. I'm not sure if the icons issue is resolved yet. Please report back once you've tried out the new version. Thanks!

Follwing on from my last post a minute ago. I noticed I had scaling on my text and it would appear you are correct, as turning of the scaling allows 3 digits to be entered in the IP dialogue box. However I need the scaling in order to see the text (:-) JK

I have come across both problems above in 2.8b5. On SOME occasions SOME of the icons are not there at startup. However moving the mose pointer over that area quickly displays the missing icons. Also experience only able to type in 2 digits in some of the IP address boxes.I get a beep when attempting to type a third digit e.g.172.
