I didn't want to submit ticket for this as I haven't downloaded the program. We give users equipment to take out the field but we use excel sheets for them to sign out, getting them to return the equipment means we have to go trough the sheets and find out if they have any items. Also, when someone quits or is fired we have to do the same which is time consuming. Users can have more than one item signed out at the same time. Also, we use active directory so that's how we would track the user in the program. We downloaded this program: https://sourceforge.net/projects/inventorymanagementsystem/?source=directory (sorry for including that here) the problem with that program is that you cant use the same ID twice and that's how we would track each user. I emailed the creator of the program but I never received reply.
I don't know if you plan to change your program and add more capabilities but if you do would be great if it could do those things. Thanks for your time.

The real simple-inventory-manager from Solti is much more powerfull application, that can take car of your rental issues.
With http://Simple-Inventory-Manager.com there is a detection of double reference, wich is absolutely necessary!
