Hi again! I added my solution to StackOverflow which includes a huge and quite complex set of classes to be able to use the Converter interface for my special purposes AND a proposal for source code changes of Simple. I now did the proposed changes to a current checkout of the SVN source code. I have attached the diff files showing the changes I've made to Format.java and Formatter.java. Please have a look at it. I would appreciate an inclusion of my changes to the trunk! Is there a way to commit such changes in another way? Something like a commit request or something like that?
