Simple Notepad / News: Recent posts

Our support team has been flooded with e-mails about the uninstaller changing the way Windows looks. Our support staff has looked into this and has released a patch for this. See our homepage for all the details.

Simple Notepad is now sending e-mails to all Mailing List subscribers! To add yourself, beginning on June 23rd, 2005, send an e-mail to simple-notepad-news@lists.sourceforge.net.
Once you do that, our automated system will add you to the mailing list and you will recieve your first e-mail during the next update.

Simple Notepad and Simple Sticky now have new versions, version 1.5. This version removes the authorization component as it used too much CPU and RAM on Windows 98 and 2000.

It was also difficult to provide updates to all security holes in the system, and maintaining servers is hard work.

If anyone would like to design an add-on for a authorization component, we would encourage you to do so. Remember that we will provide some server space for you to utilize the add-on. If we like the add-on, we may just implement it straight into Simple Notepad!

Recently we have placed Simple Notepad and Simple Sticky and have a combined total of more than 500 downloads! All VersionTracker info is made real-time on our homepage, http://simple-notepad.sourceforge.net.

A critical update for Simple Notepad (all operating systems) has been released. FInd it in our files section.
